Public Messages
The Antigua BMail Messaging System serves several vital functions for the island. First, it provides a backbone for communication to and among the various First Responders on the island such as police, fire, rescue, medical and ambulance. Second, information channel wireless addresses have been established to communicate information to demographic and geographic groups that are not First Responders. The messages to be communicated on the channels could include weather warnings, tsunami warnings, police and situation management information. The table lists the demographic groups while the map identifies the geographic groupings.
